Reflecting on a Successful Resilience-Projects Networking Meeting at Materials Week 2024!

AI-TranspWood project was invited to the Resilience-Projects Networking meeting organized by AMI2030 - Advanced Materials 2030 Initiative, alongside the IRISS - IRISS – International SSbD network and PINK project. This event was a satellite meeting to the prestigious MaterialsWeek 2024, held in Limassol, Cyprus, from June 17-21, 2024.

Recap of the Agenda
The session kicked off with three insightful presentations from IRISS, AMI2030, and PARC. These presentations focused on:

  • SSbD and Advanced Materials - Actions and initiatives in these areas;
  • Collaboration Opportunities - How other projects can collaborate with us;
  • Support for Collaborations - Facilitating knowledge exchange and stakeholder interactions (policy makers, industry, regulators, etc.).

During this segment, each participant had 3 minutes to introduce themselves, their institution, their project, and their role/expertise. The goal was to establish as many contact points as possible between the projects by connecting experts in specific areas.
The first speaker from each project had an additional 3 minutes to present the project, highlighting its unique aspects. The focus was on what made each project special. Participants also prepared detailed posters to facilitate further discussions during the coffee break and throughout the conference. Many submitted their posters to Session 3 of the conference: Digital Innovation - Catalysing the Green & Digital Transition for Innovative Advanced Materials and Products. This session provided a platform to present projects to the entire conference, offering additional networking opportunities.
The third part of the session was an open discussion, guided by potential discussion points listed in the agenda.

Thank you for inviting us! We were delighted to meet so many of you in person. Looking forward to our continued collaboration!
